HTPS Policy 5530, Substance Abuse, Revised

HTPS Policy 5530, Substance Abuse, Revised
Posted on 12/21/2017
Recently, the Hillsborough Township Board of Education revised Policy 5530, Substance Abuse, to include electronic smoking devices ("vapes").  Hillsborough High School, Hillsborough Middle School, and Auten Road Intermediate School have also updated their respective codes of conduct to reflect this change.  Each school has sent out a separate communication to their community regarding the specific implications of these changes at that level.

Students and parents in grades 5-12 will be required to review and acknowledge the updates the next time you log into the Genesis Parent or Student Portals, as of 5 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017.  Parent access will be restricted until both the student and parent have acknowledged the new documentation.

Should you have difficulty with Genesis in any other way, please follow the directions on the district website to troubleshoot the matter or, if unsuccessful, contact the principal's secretary for further assistance.

Thank you for your support and assistance in addressing this important matter for the safety and well-being of Hillsborough's students.
