Today is picture day for all students at HMS. Milan Rose is set up in the main gym and will be taking pictures during your scheduled Health/PE period today. Remember to have your completed order form including payment with you when you report to the gym.
Student Council is looking for outgoing, responsible, and hardworking individuals who are up for the challenge of taking on a leadership role in our school. There will be a meeting for those who are interested in participating in Student Council Wednesday, September 25th at 7:45am in room D29, Mr. Heck’s room. Are you interested in teaching your peers and elementary school students about wellness and preventing bullying? If so, then being a peer leader/educator may be for you! Students interested in participating in AWARE and PRIDE are invited to attend an information session on Tuesday, September 24th at 7:45 AM in Room D-1. Student Council is hosting tryouts to select the next HMS Raider. Tryouts are open to all 7th and 8th graders. If interested please check your email for a googleform. Any questions see Mrs. Hunkeler in the guidance office or Mr. Heck in room D29.
Attention all cast, ensemble AND crew of "It's a Wonderful Life" for Drama Club: There is a rehearsal after school until 5:00 for EVERYONE in Mrs. Baker's music room tomorrow on Thursday. If you are in crew you can leave at 4:00. If you are in the CAST or ENSEMBLE you leave at 5:00. Everyone MUST attend. Please arrange for your transportation to pick you up on time, and we encourage car pooling. There is also a rehearsal for CAST ONLY on Friday until 4:15. The first meeting of the debate club will be held next Wednesday, September 25th in the library media center at 3:15. In order to attend, you must see Ms. Rubin to pick up a permission form. All signed permission forms must be returned by this Monday. No emails will be accepted.
