Some class have three (3) class parents, the parents can rotate which will allow each parent to attend two parties. The school will only allow two parents per class in the building at the same time.

a. HalloweenNo food, party takes place directly after the Triangle School Halloween Parade on October 31. The class parents will need to prepare a games, activity or craft for the students.

b. Winter Party - The date of the party will be arranged by the teacher and the class parents. You can have food at this party. Please see note below regarding class parties with food. The class parents will need to prepare a games, activity, or craft for the students.

4. Class Parties with food
Please remember that the parents supplying the food must provide the teacher with the ingredient labels at least three school days before the party. The teacher should forward the labels to the parents of the allergy students in their classrooms and obtain approval before the party. If the allergy parent disapproves of the food labels they may send their own snack for their child to enjoy. If the allergy parent does not reply with approval/disapproval - the allergy student may not eat any of the food provided. If you have any questions, please see Nurse Kim.

Information for Class Parents
There is a three school day minimum notice required to the classroom teacher that needs to include the ingredient labels of all the food/drink item(s) that will be served at the party. The day the ingredient list is given is day 0. For example, if the food list is given on a Friday, Friday is day 0, Wednesday is day 3, food may be served starting Thursday. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.

If a food/drink item shows up that has not been sent to the allergy parents - no student may consume this item.

Avoid tree nuts, peanuts/peanut butter, foods high in sugar and fat in all classrooms.
For drinks: 100% fruit juice, milk or water.
