All pre-ordered HMS yearbooks will be distributed in school next Tuesday, June 17th. Students will pick-up yearbooks in the annex Band Room along with their team and team teachers during specific periods according to a schedule that will be announced later this week. To confirm if you have pre-ordered a yearbook, you can check for your name on this list of pre-orders: HMS Yearbook PreOrder List. Students are listed by grade and then last name. To find your child quickly, use “CTRL + F” and start typing their last name.
Absent Students
Students who are absent on June 17th can pick up their books in room B12 during homeroom on the day they return to school. Students who will be missing the end of the school year entirely can pick up their yearbooks from the main office over the summer. Students cannot pick-up yearbooks for friends or others who are absent.
Purchasing a Yearbook (limited supply of extras)
Any student who did not order a yearbook, and wishes to purchase one now, will have the opportunity to do so on June 17th during their team’s scheduled time. Students must have $50 in cash or a money order in hand on that day to purchase the yearbook. No checks will be accepted, and no books will be reserved for those who bring in the wrong type of payment.
*There is a limited supply of extra books. Once they are sold, they are sold.
Proper Handling of Yearbooks
Students are reminded to record their names on the inside page of the yearbook once they receive theirs to assist in return should it get misplaced.
These last few days are a celebration of all that students have accomplished this year. Students should write only positive messages in other people’s yearbooks. If a student writes anything in another person’s yearbook that the person or his/her parents find offensive, the student will be held responsible for paying for that yearbook in addition to other disciplinary consequences.
Golden Rule: If you wouldn’t want your parents to read it, don’t write it!

For any interested 8th graders - we will also have a limited supply of the 2023-2024 yearbooks for sale! To purchase, simply come to the "purchase" desk when your team comes to yearbook distribution. You must have $20 in cash or a money order to purchase last year's yearbook. No checks will be accepted and no books will be reserved for those who bring in the wrong type of payment.
