Life Skills

The Life Skills Committee works with students, teachers, administrators and parents to implement prevention-based educational programs.  Students are encouraged to develop good coping skills, strong friendships, positive attitudes and healthy lifestyles. In addition, they develop the necessary skills for a healthy mind and body, along with the tools to acquire decision-making and problem solving skills.  Through the use of various activities such as role play, peer-to-peer leadership, assembly programs, multimedia interaction, and community-wide activities, the program educates the students and parents of the Hillsborough Community.

For anyone interested in becoming involved, we are always looking for parent volunteers to help conduct our programs. See the Volunteer Opportunities below.
