🎉 Thank You, Community! 🎉

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our three community information sessions on redistricting! Your input has been incredibly valuable and will play a critical role as we move forward in the decision process regarding which of the three proposed options we will adopt.

🗺️ Next Steps
The Superintendent will announce which of the three plans we are moving forward with at either the November or December Board meeting.

Our work will continue after that announcement as we begin the implementation phase.

🏫 School Assignments
Families will be informed of their new school assignments immediately after spring break.

We appreciate your engagement and commitment to this important process! Stay tuned for more updates.

At Triangle School, gratitude comes early! Triangle was honored to host a special ceremony this morning to pay tribute to the courageous veterans in our community. It was a beautiful opportunity for our students to learn about service and express their deepest thanks.

Triangle was thrilled to be the first school to kick off our district's annual Veterans Recognition efforts! This early event sets the tone for appreciation and remembrance that will continue across our schools leading up to Veterans Day.

Thank you, veterans, for your dedication and sacrifice. You are our heroes.

There is currently a power outage in parts of town and this has affected Auten Road Intermediate School. Students are remaining in their current classrooms so they do not need to traverse dark hallways. Additional personnel are available to escort students with flashlights as needed. PSE&G reports that power should be restored around 12:30 pm. This is an ongoing and developing situation and we will try to keep you updated.

🎉 Principal's Panel Power! 💡 Today, second graders at Triangle School showed us that kids' voices matter!

Superintendent Volpe joined Principal Aliperti as he recognized students for their outstanding character. But it didn't stop there! These student leaders formed a "Principal's Panel" to give direct input on future spirit days, lunch options, and other key school matters.

A HUGE thank you to these amazing students for their insight!

Happy Constitution Day! 📜 Today, we celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution, a document that lays the foundation for our government and protects our fundamental rights. While the Constitution safeguards all of us, its principles are especially crucial for the most vulnerable members of society. For example, the First Amendment protects the rights of protesters and activists to speak out against injustice, ensuring that even unpopular voices are heard. The Fourteenth Amendment's Equal Protection Clause ensures that all citizens, including people with disabilities and religious minorities, are treated equally under the law, preventing discriminatory practices. The Sixth Amendment guarantees the right to legal counsel, a crucial lifeline for individuals who couldn't otherwise afford to defend themselves in court. These are just a few examples of how the Constitution acts as a shield for those who need it most. This is a part of the genius of the Constitution. Let's remember this as we continue to strive for a more perfect union. #ConstitutionDay #LibertyandJusticeforAll
