🌟 Happy Holidays from HES! 🌟
We want to send a massive THANK YOU to our incredible HES staff for making this holiday season extra special! ❤️
This year, the HES team took the time to build meaningful connections with our local senior citizens, culminating in a wonderful event - inviting them in for some spirited "Minute to Win It" challenges! The energy, laughter, and camaraderie were truly heartwarming. 🥳
Making these kinds of connections is so incredibly important - especially during the holidays. It's not just about the games, it's about bridging generations, sharing stories, and reminding everyone that they are a valued part of our community. These interactions foster a stronger, more supportive environment for everyone. ✨
Thank you again to the staff for organizing this and to all the seniors who joined us! You truly made our spirits bright.

At our last Board meeting, we took a monumental step by creating Hillsborough's very first Unified Robotics Team! This initiative brings students with and without disabilities together to collaborate, innovate, and compete.
And talk about quick returns! 🤩
Hillsborough entered two teams into a recent state competition, and the results are absolutely phenomenal:
🥈 Team Two finished SECOND overall!
🥇 Team One finished FIRST!
That's right, folks! Hillsborough has its first Unified Robotics State Champions! 🏆
We are beyond proud of every student, coach, and volunteer who made this possible. This victory is a testament to the power of inclusion, teamwork, and the bright future of robotics in our district. Congratulations to our amazing students!

At Triangle School, gratitude comes early! Triangle was honored to host a special ceremony this morning to pay tribute to the courageous veterans in our community. It was a beautiful opportunity for our students to learn about service and express their deepest thanks.
Triangle was thrilled to be the first school to kick off our district's annual Veterans Recognition efforts! This early event sets the tone for appreciation and remembrance that will continue across our schools leading up to Veterans Day.
Thank you, veterans, for your dedication and sacrifice. You are our heroes.

TOMORROW, Wednesday, November 5th, we are anticipating bus delays throughout the day due to a driver shortage. We appreciate your patience as we work hard to have all routes covered.

Power has been restored at Auten Road Intermediate School. The school is having its regular day.

There is currently a power outage in parts of town and this has affected Auten Road Intermediate School. Students are remaining in their current classrooms so they do not need to traverse dark hallways. Additional personnel are available to escort students with flashlights as needed. PSE&G reports that power should be restored around 12:30 pm. This is an ongoing and developing situation and we will try to keep you updated.

🎉 Principal's Panel Power! 💡 Today, second graders at Triangle School showed us that kids' voices matter!
Superintendent Volpe joined Principal Aliperti as he recognized students for their outstanding character. But it didn't stop there! These student leaders formed a "Principal's Panel" to give direct input on future spirit days, lunch options, and other key school matters.
A HUGE thank you to these amazing students for their insight!
