Happy Constitution Day! 📜 Today, we celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution, a document that lays the foundation for our government and protects our fundamental rights. While the Constitution safeguards all of us, its principles are especially crucial for the most vulnerable members of society. For example, the First Amendment protects the rights of protesters and activists to speak out against injustice, ensuring that even unpopular voices are heard. The Fourteenth Amendment's Equal Protection Clause ensures that all citizens, including people with disabilities and religious minorities, are treated equally under the law, preventing discriminatory practices. The Sixth Amendment guarantees the right to legal counsel, a crucial lifeline for individuals who couldn't otherwise afford to defend themselves in court. These are just a few examples of how the Constitution acts as a shield for those who need it most. This is a part of the genius of the Constitution. Let's remember this as we continue to strive for a more perfect union. #ConstitutionDay #LibertyandJusticeforAll

Huge congratulations to our very own Superintendent Volpe on being named the 2025 national winner of the "Excellence in School Safety and Security" award from the National Association of School Superintendents!

This incredible honor is a testament to his dedication and leadership in creating a safe and secure learning environment for all of our students and staff. We are so proud of his commitment to keeping our community safe and for being a national leader in school safety.

And if that wasn't enough, he also presented his work to a national conference of his peers!

Join us in celebrating this outstanding recognition. #SchoolSafety #ExcellenceInLeadership #NationalAward #ProudCommunity

As we gear up for another fantastic school year, here's a friendly reminder to please be at your bus stop at least ten minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

We know, we know. The first week of school, bus schedules are more like a suggestion than a rule. Buses will be late. They will be early. They'll probably get caught behind a rogue ice cream truck, a flock of migrating geese, or slowed down due to parents taking those "first day of school" pictures. It's just a rite of passage.

But on the chance that your bus is on time during those first few days, we don't want your student to miss it! Plus, it's great practice for when things are running smoothly...ish.

So grab your coffee, pack some snacks, and maybe bring a good book. We appreciate your patience and look forward to a great year ahead!

For fun - what's the funniest thing you've seen (or had happen to you!) while waiting for the bus? Share in the comments! 👇

Get ready for the new school year! As the first day of school approaches, remember to double-check your child's bus pick-up and drop-off times in the Genesis Parent Portal.

With new students still registering, slight changes to routes and times CAN happen. We want to make sure you're prepared for a smooth start to the year. Please double-check before Thursday!

With the school year kicking off, please be prepared for potential bus delays, especially during the first few days. This is a normal part of the beginning of the school year process as students get used to new routines and we fine-tune our routes.

This year, we're also dealing with roadwork the Township is just starting on several roads, which may add to these delays. Please be aware that the following roads are being worked on: Thursday September 4th, 2025 - Boehm Way and Wagner Ln; Friday September 5th, 2025 - N. Woods Rd; and Monday September 8th, 2025 - Fellen Pl and Norz Dr.

Elementary school dismissal, in particular, often sees the most significant delays as our staff works diligently to ensure every child gets on the right bus safely. (Elementary parents, this is typical!)

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize a safe and efficient start to the school year for all students. We're working hard to get everyone where they need to go! They will get there!

We had a great conclusion to our new staff orientation week! Along with Dr. Radwan and Dr. Povall, Mr. Handler and Mr. Volpe took all new staff members on a tour of Hillsborough. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about where all of our students come from, see all of our schools, and discover some of the great places to eat and visit. Welcome to all of our new staff! We're so excited to have you as part of our team! #HillsboroughSchools #NewStaff #CommunityTour #Welcome

Our new staff orientation is well underway and we've got a fantastic new crew who are busy learning the ropes!

This week has been all about diving into our curriculum and getting to know our schools. The orientation wraps up tomorrow afternoon with a bus tour of Hillsborough, because we know it's just as important to know our community as it is to know our curriculum.

We can't wait to see all the great things this group will accomplish!
